Wongwannawat was originally a professional dancer, but after several injuries, he had to stop dancing and wanted to persue a creative career working with people; he came in contact with photography. Whether it's fashion or portrait photography, he always tells us the story behind it.

ADL Magazine has always been a big fan of Wongwannawat's work; we have finally had the pleasure to interview him and share his art with our readers.

Bon, what do you consider are the highlights of your career?

When I sneaked into a fashionshow in Paris...(with cheeky grin)

What sort of photoshoots do you like the most?

I love elaborate and very simple photoshoots. Working as part of a big team or even alone with the model, for me it is important that the environment also the right mood.

Your work during fashion weeks across the globe is outstanding. How do you prepare for such hectic photoshoot schedules and events?
As I work mostly for the designers, I try to convince them of my workplans before fashionweek.
The preparations start some weeks and even months in advance; they include meetings to introduce me and my style. At the meetings, we discuss what the deisgners' needs and preferences too of course.

At the fashionweek itself I have only one chance to get it right. I deliver the designers' wishes in my style.

Tell us what inspires you?

Iam inspired by the area of fashion, many artists do not earn much money but are in this with all their heart, thats incredible.

If you were to pick your top three favourite fashion designers, who would they be and why?

I do not want to favor any designers. Every designer brings something unique to a fashion runway. I love when the designers show their characters and stand by their lines.

A photoshoot is a collaboration with stylists, make up artists, designers and models. How do you manage expectations to deliver the images you want?
Depends on whether it is a paid job or not. If it is a free job, you have to look for a team thats fits well together.

Tell ADL readers something about you that nobody else knows.

I’ll soon invest in a new camera.

In your view, what makes the best image?

If I look at a picture longer than 5 seconds.

ADL always asks about guilty pleasures. What are yours?

Haha if I am invited to a dinner, they cook bigger portions for me.

What advice do you give to our readers about pursuing their dreams?

Believe in you. Believe in your dreams.

What is the next project that you are looking forward to?

Paris Fashionweek with my team.
