How did you get into modelling?
Modelling has always been something I’ve done on the side. I’ve worked with a few clothing and fitness brands in the past. I got into this totally by accident, mostly through social media.
Tell me something about one of your favourite photoshoots?
I did a shoot once for a small fashion brand that had a really cool southern European/Italian vibe. The final images were really striking and different from anything I have done before.
When it comes to fashion, what are your favourite brands/designers?
When it comes to my own personal style and fashion choices I like to keep it pretty simple. I love well-made, fitted clothes. You don’t need to have expensive high-end brands to achieve this look. I love Zara, River Island and Asos; they always have affordable yet stylish clothes.
What are your key achievements when it comes to modelling?
Some of my shoots have been included in magazines and E-commerce websites; it’s always good to see the final images being used or published.
How do you prepare for photoshoots?
I try to give myself two weeks of being super healthy and not drinking beforehand. Extra gym sessions... and making sure my skin is clear and healthy.
How do you keep fit? Any fitness and diet advice to our readers?
I try to go to the gym 4 or 5 times a week, with a mixture of core and weight training. As always, it’s diet that is key to having a great body, and I do struggle with that. It’s all about balance; someone who doesn’t enjoy a bit of chocolate now and again isn’t really living life.
How did social media impact your career?
Social media has been a huge impact on my career! It’s slightly overwhelming how an app can lead to so many opportunities. I’ve been invited to events, photoshoots and TV programmes. It’s one of my main sources of work.
What style of photoshoots do you like the most?
I really enjoy fitness modelling, and it great to celebrate all the hard work at the gym.
What inspires you as a model?
Photographers are constantly pushing the envelope with shoots and creative ideas. I’d love to try a more experimental type of shoot.
